yes I would like to decrease her dose. She has gained more weight, I bought her several new size 7 blue jeans and they are now very tight. She cries to wear a big jacket to cover her butt and waist, she will wear it even if it is dirty. She cries a lot now and I can see how uncomfortable she is when we go places, when she used to shine her star so bright wherever we went.

I calculated her dose compared to mine and she take MORE than I do and I weigh about 10 or 15 lbs more. I don’t even know how much she weighs now, I don’t want to embarrass her, she feels bad eneogh as it is.

We were suppose to see another doctor, so I sent a very nice letter and recieved no response. Then I called and left a message. The nurse then left me a message saying that the doctor is on vacation and that she will talk to me about her beliefs on the 17 OHP ranges when we see her On Jan 22.

What I asked in my letter was what she considered to be acceptable 17 OHP levels in CAH children and does she dose using the circadian rythm. I don’t see how numbers and a yes or no answer  was too much to ask for. So I may ask to see her to see Tatyana before then. I don’t want 2 months to go by before a change is made. I can’t watch this happen to my baby when there is no need for it. It is ridiculous. I feel that if a little was taken from her afternoon dose that it would be okay. Right now she is on 14.5 mg/m2. From what I have read, usual dose for nonclassics on cortef is 5 to 15 mg/m2. So that makes her taking close to the highest dose possible. I just might call her Ped tomorrow to see if he can send us to Houston next week.

Thanks for your help and answers. I did want ask would she be considered pre pubertal or pubertal?
