Side effects can be short term every day things or long term ten years from now.  That means in ten years they may declare after these studies that GH is proven to cause accelerated growth and bone age in CAH kids and is no different to under treatement and them making the same amount.

Sometimes there are times when people have to take chances on things.  That’s all this study is--taking a chance... unfortunately the credibility of the Doctor has nothing to do with it.  As much as I hate writing this, it is true and people think about these things in the backs of their minds.  We have had Doctor’s as passionate as other’s that seem to be in the lime light.  However, the ones in the limelight are no more enlightened than the ones who just get on with  the job of managing children with this condition.  So I really hate it when people bandy names around to vouch for something that I perceive is purely experimental as if by having that particular Doctor it will avoid any side-effects that may occur.  It won’t unfotunately...it is all as it seems..purely an experiment.
