Hi Jill!

Does your nephew live in a state that screens for CAH at birth? If so, the baby would have been screened for CAH when he was born. He should have been picked up if he was screened at birth. Late onset usually (but not always) shows up later than 3 months and if the state is screening, they set their levels to detect SV and SW CAH.
