Just adding my 2 cents.Beth D.Our daughter was diagnosed at 5 with classic nsw CAH. She was extremely tall for her age, and had a bone age of about 11. With girls, puberty comes on a little earlier, so we didn’t have much time. We put off GH until she was 7 with a bone age of 12.5 (she was about 4’8"). She has been on GH and Lupron for 3 years (no complaints from her at all...the decision was hers). She is now 10.5 years old, 5’5" and they are thinking about stopping her in the near future. She plays basketball and loves it. She has also been taking ballet for the past 7 years and has had no problems with any of the injections. Even though she is alot taller than her friends, she has many and is loved by all. Good luck in your decision. (You can sometimes see her at the top of this site...long curly brown hair, blue eyes and a blue striped shirt).
