My son is 16 and a non saltwasting CAH, diagnosed through newborn screening.  He has stopped growing (final height 5’ 4 "),  and is starting on adult maintenance dosing - currently taking 8 mg prednisone daily.  

We have become aware that osteoporosis is an issue for CAH patients and was interested to hear that you are being treated for this.  At what age did you become aware that osteoporosis was a problem? i.e. when should we start looking for this ?

I hope you can help me with this one.
