Well, it is very interesting but the fact that he was so close to a crisis is troubling, why? and what caused it? ....now I am not by any means an expert in anything but....from what I have been told by the geneticist in NY was that sometimes phenotype and genotype don’t match. Meaning he could be a  Classical Simple Virilizer or NON Classic and act like a SW. Maybe your son is not a SW but a Simple Virilizer like my son or a Non Classic who exhibits more like a SW. It’s very confusing when it’s such a spectrum....

I would also get rid of the salt supplementation and try decreasing the meds as your doc says. You can retest and see what his levels are....again...why don’t you get in touch with the geneticist in NY to help you also. It’s worth a try.
