With over treatment, it would not matter how much calcium you gave, the body can only hold onto as much as is determined by the cortisol levels.  Even if through the night on circadian dosing  kids could retain plenty calcium, but the day after ---if they had too high a dose throughout that day--then a certain amount is leeched out of the bones along with the fact that not much can be laid as should be laid---so they kind of cycle from one mode to the other I would have thought in just a day.  The problem is when deficits are created ALL day every day on every dose they have (even a large dose at night) and they don’t have their doses adjusted to suit the time of day.  Not sure if they really discussed that in that article but possibly this was covered in the monitoring and lab tests they should cover and hoe often?  I havn’t had time to read it all...
