I am not sure I understand all of the issues, but my youngest SW CAH boy had a really hard time when he was an infant with his sodium levels. He was taking 4 Florinef per day, two in the morning and two at night. He was also taking the sodium supplements. As he got older, he is now 3, he is down to 1 Florief per day, all his levels are in check and he even tried going to 1/2 per day but that was too low. My understanding is that babies, infants, for whatever reason I am unsure, usually need more florinef than adults and older children.
My older child has always taken one florienf per day.
