Hopefully as a doctor you will respect that not everyone desires or can fit into what this society deems the "norm".  

I work in a helping field also and I never assume or think that people should all look the same way or think the same way to be accepted.   

Of course, physical intimacy is move that physical sensation but how about not giving that up and finding someone that wants you because of the way you really are and not how some surgeon decides you were supposed to look?
