Anne-MarieI would have thought that using steroids it can make you more prone to fungal infections. Isn’t it a symptom? Because if you can get your Doctor to actually associate it with the treatment side of things, and the treatment needed surely your Insurance would have to cover it then? Sometimes with steroid use, you can have a compromised immune system..and surely this can cause or reduce or kill the bacteria in the gut and on the skin that would assist in protecting against it?
Do your feet get really sweaty all the time and your hands...I don’t know about you but Ashley has permantly clammy hands and sweaty feet and I hear it so much on this board from other’s..so why they cannot take that into account for you is beyond me. I would be careful of using lamisil for prolonged periods though Susan. You can get stuff to actually paint on the toe..look at this URL below. I once used one product and it mentioned liver damage with long term use. Check it out.
