Yes I have been for a few months now...it’s hard work but the marraige breakup has not been negative so far...infact because I have so many kids and need a good break, I don’t even argue about how often he comes around to see or pick up the kids.  It kinda suits me if you know what I mean and I have more free time now than I ever did LOL!

I thought everyone knew as I posted a little while ago but I can’t remember where it was now or what sparked the posting.  Maybe a post about my argument with the local chemist because that was the straw that broke the donkey’s back so to speak.  We’re doing okay though at the moment and I have had a smooth ride so far apart from the antics over Christmas Day and the fire in the garage...I had the assessor from hell here yesterday who seemed to think some of the wood beams and trusses in there could be painted with some stuff just to stop the burn smell.  I ended up having a row in email...but it is sorted now as two builders came around yesterday and said the whole roof will need to come off and be replaced whether it is just blackened, charred or whatever and that the galvanized iron once it get’s to a certain temp loses it’s galvanic qualities and rusts in no time.  I had visions of this new garage being erected next door where the sad rusty excuse for a shed stood before and mine just being painted with lime stuff to stop the burned smell...it was a nightmare trying to sort through it.  Apparently I think the building regulations have changed also since they were built and any building within two meters of eachother now need to have a fire wall between them...need to check that out today if the council is open.  My x-partner is helping to sort through it all though so that is something.
