I have exchanged several emails and photos with Mr. W(V)olf and he is very forthcoming and honest.  He just doesn’t know what it will cost and the nuns said that the individuals in charge of the adoption seemed offended when asked that very question.

Don said that the adoption cost only "your love", but that there were others involved such as counselors, administrators and the like who needed to be paid.  I fear that this is where the price goes up.

I happen to have a friend who has adopted a beautiful child from Croatia and is in the midst of applying for permission to adopt another.  I will be in contact her shortly after the new year and get more of the specifics from them.  I think I do remember them telling stories of having to grease some palms throughout the adoption.

The nuns are aware however, that they have lost out on some of the potential adoptive parents by the lengthy delay in responses.

They truly are two adorable children who look very happy and well cared for.
