God stuff there Anne-Marie! thanks for the input !   I want to do this stuff right, ya know ? I had to think back to when I got the blood draws but I got those done early in the afternoon after escaping early from work. Which was way after or before I took any more cortisone. It’s cool though how one thing can have an effect on the other.

I don’t know about the cortisol levels going up. It’s interesting though , I mean the only cortisol I "make" is what I take orally and it’s busy keeping a lid on androgens, just having fun here ; ) it’s amazing what it takes for the body to run. I was more active then now but I’m getting back to doing things again! Even then I wasn’t that active just did little stuff like a half hour daily walk, horse shows, club dancing. Interesting thing about the white blood cell count, mine was and/or is high, when I went to get a work physical the nurse wanted me to go right to my GP about it. I never did because when I started the new job, I lost the insurance from the old one and it took 90 days before the new insurance was in effect.

I’m not doing a iron injection but rather an IV drip. You get to watch TV and have a coke while the bag of iron drips through a tube into the needle hook up in your arm. They put you in this comfortable recliner chair and give you a warm blanket. It would be great to get a pedicure while I’m at it, maybe a cut and style too.  lol

One of the neat things is that I get to explain to the medical staff about CAH. It’s nice, they really are receptive, curious, respectful and down to earth about it. They ask ME about what my opinions are about all of it. I am fortunate to have an awesome hospital right around the corner from me. You know if you ever have an adrenal crisis or anything at all, you want to be "tight " wit the medical staff... yo.... them good people... they straight... : )

I enjoy writing and anything that I write that helps a parent and/or child with CAH, so they have it better then I did is worth everything.

I liked the article also, basically it should be a diet of steak, wine, and green vegetables ?  Works for me, sounds good.

thanks again : )
