Matt, We found out when my son was 1 because he, too, had hair on his penis.  We even saw a uroligist who thought that it wasn’t important, but we pushed further and indeed he did have non-classical CAH.  Our son will have a lifetime of taking dex. once a day, but it really is not a problem.  He has had the flu several times and even made it through a surgery with no problem before we found out about the illness.  It is very treatable and the earlier you find out, the better off your son will be.  Good luck and keep us informed.
