My main computer (the amd k62) is running Win98. This site is hosted on a webhost (somewhere in Maryland, I think). My personal web site (http://www.DannyCarlton.net) is on my home computer, but it doesn’t get that many hits.

I’ve been able to collect some inexpensive computers from various places (mostly eBay) and all of my kids have their own computer, and they’re all networked together. The older network cards for BNC connections are dirt cheap nowadays.

Win98 doesn’t thread as efficiently as Win2000 or WinXp, but none of the computers I have can handle anything above Win98. As of last month 46% of internet users were still using Win98, and only 26% were using Win200 and less than 1% WinXP (source) So I like to design pages on what most people are using.
