Injuries...

I believe anything above a mere cut  would warrant a shot because no one knows really exactly what each child needs in the way of cortisol or how each child is affected "shock" wise where injury is concerned. It is simply too risky for guesswork and much better to err on the side of caution.  

We have never had injury as such...just a bang to the head with a basket ball and that was bad enough in our particular instance to lead to a hospital stay of a few days because I only doubled the med’s initially and wasnt; sure what to do.  On reflection I would give the shot next time and then go to the hospital... as they didn’t know what to do either and maintianed him on high oral doses even though he was nauseous and vomiting.
