re: What is your definition of intersexed?

My definition of being intersexed would be strictly physical.  If a person has both male and female organs and/or chromosomes.  If we included the psychological, wouldn’t anyone who was homosexual be intersexed?  Or even someone who was heterosexual but was also a transvestite, wouldn’t they be intersexed because of their desire to act like the opposite sex at times - regardless of the cause for these desires?  I know that according to how Webster’s defines it, all of the above would be true, but isn’t that an awful broad range of conditions?  As far as I’m concerned it is.  It can mean that a person was exposed to excess androgens for four weeks or it can mean they are a hermaphrodite, a homosexual, or a heterosexual.
