I also always perceived that homosexuality was not inherited unlike an intersexual state which seems to be mainly linked to people born with hormonal imbalance which affects their physical development and also has influences on their psychological development.  Whereas with plain homosexuality, it seems to be a choice and there appears no apparent hormone imbalance.  Who knows unless they did a study really?

On the program where it stated that boys use certain parts of the brain more than girls, exactly what areas of the brain did they use more?  Would have liked to see it actually and know what they were talking about.

I did find an article about something similar here:

http://www.unc.edu/~raptor/Sites/film5.htm

for anyone interested. Here is an excerpt:

"Why do girls and boys respond different to particular activities? It seems the answer may be prenatal -- prior to birth, particular areas of the brain are stimulated and organized because of the specific hormones they are exposed to. These sex differences early on may facilitate the development of particular gender roles later in life. This is a hormone (prenatal differences due to sex hormones) and environment (post-natal experience) interaction, and will lead to differences in behavioral development."
