I think it is great that she doesnt remember it being such a big issue.  Both my primary care physcian and endo.  have stressed the importance to me that I should not make a big issue of my son’s condition.  Now of course they have taught me what i need to know to ensure his safety.  They want him to lead as normal a life as any other kid. 

However, I totally understand the worrying.  My two year old goes to daycare, and I have told them to call me anytime anything happens.  My doctors have always told me to give the shot if he is vomitting, or if he is seriously enjured (broken bone, ect.).
