re: Immunizations

My son will be two on Feb. 12.  He has always received his immunizations on schedule like any other child, and he has always done fine.  I know that my doctor said not to give them if the child is on stress doses which I dont think you even give them to a child without cah when they are sick.

I am wondering when the last blood work was done on your twins.  I know they made me take Carter in every week for blood work until he was about two months.  I often wondered if this was necessary because is was torture for him and us as parents.  Now we get blood about every three to four months, and we have learned to make the 4 hour trip to Dallas for it because every time we used another facility for blood work they would make some kind of mistake (plus they would stick him numerous times) or the lab they use would make a mistake.  At Dallas at the childrens’ hospital they usually get the blood the first try.

I wish you the best of luck with your children, and feel free to e-mail me at carrierivas@hotmail.com

I would love to talk to you, and help you in any way.
