How true your words are Betsy, this goes for boys too.  I have learnt this the hard way, but by trusting an endo who was very charming but too laid back.  Somehow bone age advanced 1.6 years in 4 months, so bones are fused and height lost, so even if they are very nice, you need to still question things, which I did but I should have changed endos months ago, as in my heart I knew things were not right.
