Thank you so much for sharing.  Your insight is valuable.  I agree 100%.  My son loves dancing and singing and art & music.  He currently takes piano & voice and jazz and tap.  He is who he is and we want to support him in his interests.  Inspite of the teasing, when he gets up in front of the whole school in the talent show and sings and dances, people’s mouths drop open.  Since age 4 he’s been a solo performer at school and loves it.  He’s a regular every year and people look forward to it!

Life in general is not easy and as parents we hate to see our children suffer.  But he will be stronger in the long run.  Thank you so much.
