Shaun: Not all girls with CAH have ambiguous genitalia. Late onset CAH can be in boys and girls and men and women.

Dalton’s mom: I agree that I would have your daughter tested before any signs appear. By waiting, if your daughter does have LOCAH, you would have lost valuable time for growth, also problems with hormones and moods out of whack and possible early puberty. Ask for the ACTH stimulation test and then you will at least stop the worry and wondering. IF she doesn’t have it hurray, and if she does you can help her a great deal much sooner. Good luck.
