Dr. Dickson is our local endo.  We very much like his way with our daughter.  He speaks to us and then directly to her.  He asks her how she has been feeling and what she has been up to with regard to sports and school and talks to her like she is a real person and not his next chart. 

He is never in a rush or acts preoccupied, and answers any questions we may have.  He is well aware we have another endo and has no problem with it whatsoever.  Even asks how our trip was. 

His nurse and I talk back and forth constantly.  She tells me the lab results (which by the way he manages her meds wonderfully!) as I like to keep a record and I like to wish her well on the holidays.  They have been a pleasant experience.
