We lowered our meds again!  Our almost 8 mo. old SW is down to 3.12 mg of cortef a day.  The trouble we are having is we only can get 5 mg pills.  We are now supposed to give her 1/4 in the morning, same at night but 1/8th at the 2:00 time!  There is only one line on the pill so the quarters were hard enough but an 8th?  My husband is cutting them with a razor blade and if thats all there is then so be it because we have tried all the local drug store pill cutters without much success.  Could be us but are there any other ideas?  The local pharmacist suggested moving to the liquid because she couldn’t understand how a child would take an eighth considering there are other ingredients in cortisone pills just to hold it together!
