When I was five I spent about a month or so in the hospital. I have this memory of this nurse with a gallon of ice cream and a big spoon sticking the pred in the ice cream my mother was with her for reinforcement. It wasn’t necessary because I slurped down the pred in the middle of the ice cream.

This is strange but I don’t consider it medication even though that is what it is. I just call it by it’s name Prednisone or Hydrocortisone. I think medication is for sick people and knock on my computer desk wood, I’ve never considered myself a sick person because of the CAH. I was recently scanning an Employment board at the local college. There was an ad to make a quick $200 to participate in a study about the effects of weight lifting on healthy subjects. I lifted weights in high school so I thought it would be a fun thing to do and easy money but then I realized they wanted healthy subjects and most likely having CAH would eliminate me from their selection.
