HI Elizabeth:

My 3 year old son just got diagnosed.  He takes 2.5 mg in the morning and afternoon and 5 mg a night.  I am not sure if this is a lot either but my Endo said that it is based on weight (15mg per meter square of the body).  We are supposed to test him again in 30 days.  His 170hp was 3020 to begin with, which seems extremely high compared to your numbers so now I am a little scared.

Since we started him on the Cortef he seems to have gotten worse health wise.  His energy is down (more tired) and he appears to be pale with dark circles under his eyes.  He had his first fever in over a year (100.2), which of course freaked me out.  Did you notice your daughter’s symptoms getting worse also?  Can anyone tell me if this is normal??
