We live in North Tx and while we have a local pedo endo we use for regular visits/checkups/emergencies, we still go see Dr. New’s staff once a year or so.  We know her experience level is way up there and her knowledge and research with respect to CAH is the best!

She lowered our daughters hydrocortisone from 25mg to 17.5 mg (we had been seeing high lab scores, she had the cushing look and was terribly aggitated).  Since then her labs have been perfect (about 250), her bone age is exact for her age and what can we say.... her attitude change (although that’s controversial) we feel is IS due to medication variations, has got so much better.  She isnt acting like she has PMS all the time!

We are huge advocates for going for the best medical care if you can.  No matter where you have to go.  Use all your resources!  These are the only kids we have and they need to be taken well care of.

Good Luck!
