You know I’ve been to two doctors and asked each of them a million
questions and no one said anything about that. I know the first
doctor thought he had CAH but decided not to treat unless he had
some serious symptoms like bone age advancement or central puberty.
Dr. New’s group thought his numbers were in the borderline carrier
range right from the start. They said that if he’s a carrier, his
symptoms must be from something else. I never liked that explanation
because it seemed like only that one hormone was elevated. He also
grew something like .9 inches in 3 months which alarmed me but both
doctors said it was normal and to just keep watching. I really don’t
know what we’ll do if he starts having a major growth spurt without
central puberty. If he has early puberty we’ll do Lupron.

Well thanks alot for bringing this up, and I will definitely mention
it at the next visit.

Does anyone else out there have an opinion on this? I really don’t
know what’s normal for that test.
