Thank-you for your advice! I think that the "don’t double it for shots" idea was presented to us with our first CAH child ... over 14 yrs ago. I remember that it sounded strange to me, but they said something about it lowering his immunity and increasing his chances of contracting the diseases he was being immunized for (??). In any case, I finally DID get in touch with someone at the endo’s, and they said the same thing. Things have obviously changed since 1989 (or else I’m just totally out-to-lunch, which isn’t impossible either! ;) My daughter is feeling better today; we DID increase her meds, and the swelling and fever are gone today.
