re: should you stress dose for an ear infection
Feb. 6th, 2003   2:00pm
We were instructed to double dose for "mild illness" such as mild colds, ear infections, etc., so I would definately double him up until he’s feeling better. In these cases, I was always uncertain for how LONG to keep my child doubled! I’ve found that when she no longer "needs" it, I can really tell! She becomes VERY hyper, sometimes sleeps very restless, and becomes "touchy"/ less even tempered. Every child is different, but I do know that doubling your son for a couple of days needlessly won’t hurt him; NOT doubling if his body needs it, could be real trouble. Hope he’s feeling better very soon! God’s blessings.
