Since Saturday, our 15-month-old SWCAH son has been wasting an extreme amount of salt through his tearing(crying).  He currently has a cold which also started Saturday.  Could these two be related?  Or is this something I should contact our ped endo about?  He has in the past wasted salt through his tears, but it appears as if he wasting more at the present time.  When he awoke this morning, he had quite a bit of salt under his eyes.
