If a child experiences puberty at an early age (such as your daughter’s) it should be investigated thoroughly.  Whilst not wishing to worry you further, the most common cause of precocious puberty in girls is a brain tumour (although I will stress this is usually benign and therefore not life-threatening).  Has your daughter had an MRI scan to rule this out?  If so and CAH and other metabolic conditions have also been eliminated as a possible cause, it may be that they find no actual medical reason and it is just ’one of those things’.  As has been mentioned before though, it is still a problem and it can cause considerable distress for a child to go through puberty so early and there is medication available to halt the process.  Most sensible and competent endocrinologists do recognise this fact and considering the reaction you received from your daughter’s specialist, I would agree with the advice already given - go and find another doctor!  Good luck!
