If I need surgery I do not have to pay for that here in Canada, and visits to the doctor are free. But not all health care is free, for example people must pay for their prescription drugs though as Lyndsey said the costs of those drugs has been much reduced. I think that I paid $14 ($9 US) for a 100 day supply of prednisone.
