Hi LyndseyPeg
I can understand what you are saying and sympathize with your concerns. My daughter is now 18 and while I don’t expect she will be moving out suddenly, I’m sure the day will come when she is no longer be covered under my benefits. Am I correct in assuming you are from Ontario? We live in Windsor. The basic meds are not very expensive but if you do get ill and need antibiotics etc...well the bills start adding up. If you do live in Ontario I would suggest that you contact your local CCAC - Community Care Access Centre. You may or may not need a doctor referral but I’m sure they will let you know what to do to access their system. Also, every community has some type of social services that can be accessed through their city hall or local government. Hope this helps. Let me know.
Peg
PS Where are you from? We’re in Windsor (adjacent to Detroit, MI). Shaun - who you have been addressing also is in Windsor at the University. Hi Shaun - if you are reading this!
