Interesting scary movies were mentioned - I have been one that can’t watch scary movies - I felt dizzy and shaky afterward when I did. Lots of anxiety too afterward.  Disneyland rides were the same. The stress of the rides (Space Mountain was the worst) gave me a huge headache afterward and I just walked around in a stupor and had to go back to the hotel room and lie down because I couldn’t handle it. (that was before I knew much about stress dosing) My mother seemed to have a 6th sense about scary things for me though - even before diagnosis (in my teens) she wouldn’t allow me to watch scary stufff - and I didn’t fight her on it at all. Of course as a teen I went and saw " Texas Chainsaw Massacre" with my friends - it still makes me cringe - 25+ years later. The scary stuff really just makes me ill - why do it to myself?

Parents - do your kids a favor that have CAH - don’t let them watch that stufff - it’s really bad for them. Or subject them to fighting or that sort of thing.....it’s much harder on us with adrenal problems than the average person.
