ToniaHello! I realize I am probably omitting alot of information in this post, I am usually very thorough but have a 5 year old who wants to play Barbies right now.
We have 2 daughters- 6 and 5 years old, who both have SSW CAH. We have recently moved to a new town and have a new endo. I just received the follow up letter from our November appointment written to our pediatrician, copied to us about my oldest daughter. I read this letter as if I was reading about another child. There were sooooo many mistakes in this letter, I cannot tell you! They even had my husband’s name wrong.
So my question is this, seeing that this letter is what her pediatrician sees as fact about my daughter and stays in her medical file forever, do I send a "letter of truth and correction"? I was so disturbed to see that it seemed that nothing I said or what is clearly in her medical files was accurately represented in this letter. The other question I have is: Is this a sign of a much bigger problem!? We see him tomorrow and I plan to bring many issues to the table, including this letter, amongst other things.
I would appreciate your input on this. And if I have left out any glaring details that you have a question about, please ask. Thanks!
