My son is a good performance swimmer - particularly good at butterfly - problem he is taking a glucocorticoid (prednisolone) for his non classic CAH - this is a banned substance by FINA (international swimming association). Tom is 11 and is about to enter elite competitions and I am in the process of checking out his eligability through our national swimming association, Nofio Cymru, or Welsh Amateur Swimming Association. I appreciate that this is quite a specialist area but does anyone have any experience of this in swimming or any other sport at elite level.
