Great question, something that I have thought of often. Our SWCAH daughter is only 4 years old, however we are a very sporting family and would love for her to excel in her chosen sport. Should any of our CAH children excel to the point of olympic selection or reach the highest level in their sport, I am sure that the taking of their drugs would become an issue. Even though the drugs they take are only to replace what their body should naturally produce, it is impossible to immitate the exact amount the body needs to take artificially at every possible time - a drug test may show higher levels than normal of a banned substance at a particular time of the day. I’m not sure if any CAH children/adults have ever had to deal with this issue but it certainly would be a challenge for them.Jenni
