Bone age 2yrs behind chronilogical age
Mar. 4th, 2003   5:20pm

My son is 6 and his bone age showed that of a 4 y/o.  His endocrinologist said he wasn’t concerned about it because he has grown and gained weight along the same growth curve.  Of course, I am wondering if there is something else wrong. (growth hormone def., thyroid problem, over dosing of steroids, etc.)  His 24hr. urine results weren’t in yet. I know we would be more worried if his bone age was advanced.  Just wondering how everyone else’s children have faired on the bone age testing.
