Just reading your post made me nervous ! So Glad you took your daughter to the ER instead of abiding by his wait and see attitude.

 I’ve had similar problems with past Endos.  Like in your daughter’s case some of the incorrect information was related to what surgeries I had and also information was lacking in regard to what type of CAH that I have. This information was sent on to a prior Internist that I really don’t think had any knowledge or interest in the CAH. I was lucky to intercept this information and I brought it to the Endo’s attention as I was exiting his service. Like you, I was deeply concerned over his lack of attentiveness and he was quick to blame the person that actually wrote the letter. To his credit he did offer to send a follow up letter to the internist but I truly doubt that he ever did.  After being absolutely livid over the whole thing, I eventually calmed down and came to realize that some doctors are just better than others and this one wasn’t the best for me.
