One more thing I wanted to add.  My son was just recently diagnosed with CAH.  He is actually a SWCAH but the doctor’s were baffled that it took him so long to be diagnosed so they figured he wasn’t a severe SW.  They were hoping that his Cortef dosage would be enough to bring down the renin levels.  We just got the results back from his first 30 days of treatment and were disappointed to learn that it did not help so they want to start him on the florinef.  The doctor is going to wait to start him until Kenny goes through the whole incubation period because he said that the medicine can supress the auto-immune system.
