DavidMI have two children with SWCAH (son 10, daughter 7) they both participate in and enjoy sports. My daughter is competing in gymnastics and practices 3 times a week for 4 hours and 2 hours of stenghth and flex training on Saturday. My son does sports for recreation on a fun level only and does not get the same level of exersize as his sister. Interestingly her levels are much more stable than his and we are trying to get him involved in more physical activity for this reason. She takes less Cortef than him for her size/weight and her growth and bone age are spot on to date. His bone age has always been behind as welll as his growth. So we reduced the amount of his medication which accelerated his bone age but his growth did not keep pace with that acceleration. In retrospect I wish we would have found a sport he could spend more time on earlier.
Hope this helps.
