I notice from many of the postings that a lot of people have gone to see Dr. New.  I know that she is considered to be one of the top Dr’s regarding CAH.  I am curious to know:

1.  Do people see her in addition to their regular Endo?  If so, why?

2.  Do you travel often to NY to see her?  We live in CA so this would be a big trip for us.

3.  How do you go about getting an appointment and is it covered by insurance?

Kenny is considered by our Endo to be a "baffling" case since he is a SWCAH that was not diagnosed until 3.  He continues to confuse them with some of his test results, etc.  We would like for Kenny to be seen by "the best" but not sure how it works or if it is even feasible.
