Thanks for your replies ... I will try SunLife, Aimee. Our son died from adrenal crisis at age 23 mo, over 12 yrs ago now (VERY long story). We are not looking at a huge policy for our daughter; we have a small one for our non-CAH son, too. Funeral costs did not put us in the hole with the death of our son, but it WOULD be an extra burden that I would prefer not to have to deal with at a time like that. Also, in retrospect, it would have been good for my husband to be able to take some time off work, to heal and adjust; I guess many people would prefer to keep busy after the death of a child, but it’s nice to have the option.
