re: re: re: Is there ever any harm in giving the injection?

We stressed dosed Carter orally, so I knew we were okay.  In fact I’m pretty sure that is all he needed, and we stressed dosed him for two days on our endo’s instructions.  However, we still had the ER give him the shot just because we wanted to ensure his health.  I believe now I probably will give him the shot at home because it did take the ER so long to get to him; in fact, I was on the phone calling the endo on call in Dallas, when we were called back, and he was given the injection.  I was going to ask the endo if I should go ahead and give it, or wait.  In a way I believe this was a blessing because he showed me he is really going to be fine, and we can handle anything that comes our way.  It is amazing to watch him.  He acts like he doesn’t even know the cast is there.  I wonder if he thinks it is just a new part of him.

Thanks,

Carrie
