I have two SW CAH boys. I always give the shot at home after vomiting, unless they kind of are choking on something, my little one get really phelmy and that makes him vomit every once in awhile. I have not had to go to the hospital since I started this "program". It does seem to stop the nausea and the kids have done real well. I also wake my kids after six hours and dose again and give a sweet drink, that I think also helps. I don’t know why you would want to go to the hospital if you can treat your child at home. My endo says the hospital is the last place you want to be. Remeber though, every child is different and you need to use your best judgement for the best care of your child. I am a firm believer that you need to trust your gut.
