A quick check of Pubmed yielded this source.  You may want to check further, searching for papers by Dr. Scott Rivkees.  He has a lot of experience using dex in children.

Several months ago, we changed from a dosing schedule of Cortef only to a combination of Cortef and dex.  We’re using the 80:1 conversion factor, and my girls’ labs have been consistent.
