Well, the new dosage of salt/Florinef seems to have things back to normal.  Her salt readings were good yesterday so I guess we’ll stick with this for a while and see how it goes.  The sweating has subsided but Valerie, it’s interesting to hear that you associated it with being oversuppressed.  I hadn’t considered that and with two shots and double-dosage for about five days, that could very well be it and not the lack of Florinef/salt.  Very interesting ideed...

Anne-Marie, there’s an old saying...."It sucks to be you."  It amazingly sounds like you guys are dealing with pretty much the same bug we, not to mention most of our family and friends, have had here.  The younger the kids are, the sicker they get but the adults just kinda feel like somebody put an elephant in their pants - tired, no energy, and you’d really rather just puke.  :)

The burning burgers analogy was a bit watered-down for the board purposes.  What I actually said was that if they couldn’t find a vein, they SHOULD be working at McDonald’s.  It really bugs me.  I owned a convenience store for 13 years and one of the main items sold at convenience stores is cigarettes.  How long would I have been in the convenience store business if I decided to replace the cigarette racks with a couple racks full of used car tires?  Not only would I sell used tires instead of cigarettes, but I’d stand there at the counter and try and convince my customers that *I* know what I’m doing.  "Smoke this tire...you’ll like it better!"  The point is, one should really be, at the very least, very adept at the main aspect of their business whether it be selling cigarettes or sticking a needle in a person’s veins.  In the words of my older daughters..."duh!"
