FridaI recently met a lady at Dr. New’s office who had a fourteen year old son with her who has 11-hydroxylase deficiency. I don’t know how she tested for it, but it wasn’t until her son was eight years old, and had the bone age of a thirteen year old kid, that she relized that something was seriously wrong. I think you should call up Dr. New’s office to find out what they can do for you. I’m sure they have a way of testing it. The number in her office is (212) 746-3456.
I’m just wondering what makes you think that your baby as 11-hydroxylase deficiency and not another form of CAH?
